When you love stories, it’s easier to bring them to life—richly, truly and meaningfully. Luckily for us, pervading Mark’s cross-disciplinary ability is a genuine appreciation for a really good yarn. 

This drive to understand what makes people—most importantly, consumers—tick has helped him develop intuitive brands across both corporate and consumer sectors, including: AB InBev, American Airlines, Intel, Casella [yellow tail], Capital One, Exelon, Hard Rock International, CH2M, PepsiCo-Strauss, Nestlé, MapQuest, the National Football League, SAE International, World Gold Council and Unilever. 

Mr. Thwaites also helped develop the Qatar country brand, and as an extension, worked to concept and design the nation’s FIFA World Cup bid, which successfully landed the competition for 2022. In the non-profit sector, He has led engagements with New York City Center, Safe Kids, Child Mind Institute and George Washington University. Prior to joining FutureBrand, he worked for a number of design agencies for clients that included Coca-Cola, Phillips Van Heusen, Lowe’s, IZOD and Lucent
